Maiju Kangas

My passion for psychology has followed along with me ever since the beginning of my studies, but being curious by nature, I became interested in economics already in my second year of studies. Cross-disciplinary studies were an enriching experience for me, not only due to the things learned, but above all, in terms of culture and community.

During the course of my studies and thereafter, I have found time to do many kinds of work. In my work as a consultant, I have concentrated especially on recruitments, executive and combination searches, and aptitude assessments. In addition, I have taught and conducted research at a university and got my doctorate in the field of industrial and organisational psychology.

I find my enthusiasm rising when I can offer individuals and businesses new points of view, encourage people, offer food for thought and, of course, provide the best possible service. Humanity is an important value to me at work. In addition, the significance of the working community is of central importance to me and it is therefore one of the essential reasons why I am now working at HRS. This company employs a group of accomplished professionals, all of whom are truly remarkable people.

In my free time, I enjoy a variety of pursuits and an active lifestyle. Travelling and moving about in nature are close to my heart, as is having loved ones and a dog of my own. Singing in a choir and engaging in dance serve as the channels of creative expression for me and at the same time these activities provide opportunities to feel connected to other people in the world of melodies and rhythms.

I find my enthusiasm rising when I can offer individuals and businesses new points of view, encourage people, offer food for thought and, of course, provide the best possible service.
